First Walk of the Season – Devoran Creek
This circular walk is about 3 miles along the Tramway on Devoran Creek to the Quay and into the hinterland! There will be 3 stiles, a long steepish slope and some quiet road walking. Walking boots or wellies are a must, especially if there is more rain. Although dogs will be welcome, they will need to be on leads for the road section. At the time of writing, I am exploring a slightly different route to avoid stiles, but the start point will remain the same.
The walk will start promptly at 10.30am in the car park.
Directions: At the Devoran Roundabout on the A39, take the Devoran turning, then turn right at the T junction, and right again. The free car park is about 50 metres on the righthand side.

After the walk a splendid Sunday roast will be available back at the club, at about 1pm. If you wish to eat at the club, please book your meal on the website.
It would be helpful if you could let Rachel know if you will be coming on the walk, so she will have an idea of numbers. I will also be circulating details on RCYC WALKERS
