RCYC

With a rich history spanning over 200 years, the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club (RCYC) was initially a gathering place for gentlemen interested in sailing & social activities. Today, the RCYC has evolved into a welcoming yacht club with a wonderful community of diverse members from Falmouth & beyond.

Membership is available for those wishing to race in the Carrick Roads, Falmouth Bay & beyond; regular cruisers, seafarers, marine industry professionals; those wishing to participate in the wide range of water based pursuits available in the harbour, & all of those who just enjoy being in, on or by the water; our Members are central to everything we do here at RCYC.

Our historic Clubhouse with its generous waterfront lawn is located on the sea wall overlooking the beautiful Falmouth Harbour.  We offer practical facilities for yacht owners such as bookable onsite dinghy, kayak, SUP and outboard storage, as well as a friendly space for those wishing to make the most of our bar, tasty food options and social events.

The RCYC Clubhouse is open to everyone & provides the perfect escape from the hustle & bustle of Falmouth & everyday life, with plenty of opportunities to meet with friends new & old over a coffee, lunch or dinner.

Our varied social calendar is bursting throughout the year with wonderful fun events from regattas to black ties dinners, celebrations to excursions. Club Activities such as yoga, art, book & wine clubs meet regularly, & the traditional Club games, such as Bridge, are still cherished by our Members.

For those looking to strengthen sailing or business connections, there are regular Club nights, networking events, as well as a variety of spaces to facilitate briefings, meetings or co-working.
