Carol and Paul’s Alaskan Adventure

Alaska has 34,000 miles of coastline which supports one of the richest marine ecosystems on Earth. Humpback whales, orcas, sea otters, and other marine mammals are seen from the decks of cruise ships as they swim, feed, and play in the pristine waters below.
Carol Jerwood and Paul Cull recently travelled 3000 miles down the Alaskan coast on an expedition ship. They took zodiacs to calving glaciers and kayaked in the fjords. Musk ox, bears, bald eagles, albatross, and whales were just some of the wildlife they encountered on their journey south from Nome to Vancouver, via the Aleutian Islands.
Come along to the talk to see and hear all about their wonderful trip, and share in their adventure.
A delicious sailing supper of a traditional Goan curry will be available from 6.30. The curry will be based on marinated pork or tofu lightly spiced with ginger, chilli, garlic and cumin and served with nan. To help with numbers please could you book your table HERE.
