Book Group – Driving Over Lemons by Chris Stewart

Our next book is Driving Over Lemons: An Optimist in Andalucía by Chris Stewart, who was Genesis’s first drummer as a schoolboy. It’s his funny, warm account of buying a remote farm in the mountains of Andalucía and making a life there with his wife Ana. He followed it with A Parrot in the Pepper Tree and The Almond Blossom Appreciation Society.

It already has a book club connection: Driving Over Lemons was one of the Secret Santa books we swapped at our December 2025 Christmas lunch.

New readers always welcome.

Don’t forget you get 15% discount if you buy the book from the Falmouth Bookseller and mention you are a member of the RCYC Book Group.
